چکیده
Double Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DDVCS) is the only experimental channel for determination of dependence Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs) on both average and transferred momentum independently. The physics observables electron induced di-muon production reaction $$\overrightarrow{e}^{\pm }p \rightarrow e^{\pm }p\mu ^+\mu ^-$$ off unpolarized hydrogen are discussed. Their measurement with high luminosity large acceptance SoLID spectrometer at Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, using polarized positron beams 11 GeV investigated. This configuration shown to provide unprecedented access GPDs real imaginary parts Form Factor $${\mathcal H}$$ in an unexplored phase space, enable exploratory investigation higher twist effects.

Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering with Positron Beams at Jefferson Lab
The challenge of understanding nucleon electromagnetic structure still continues after more than five decades of experimental scrutiny. From the initial measurements of elastic form factors to the accurate determination of parton distributions through deep inelastic scattering, the experiments have increased in statistical and systematic accuracy. Only during the past decade it was realized tha...

We study in QCD the physics of deeply-virtual Compton scattering (DVCS)—the virtual Compton process in the large s and small t kinematic region. We show that DVCS can probe a new type of off-forward parton distributions. We derive an Altarelli-Parisi type of evolution equations for these distributions. We also derive their sum rules in terms of nucleon form-factors of the twist-two quark and gl...

We propose to measure the Beam Spin Asymmetry (BSA) in Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) off 4He. The measurements will use a 6 GeV polarized electron beam, a 4He pressurized gas target, the CLAS and the BoNuS RTPC detectors. The major goal of this proposal is to perform the first fully quantitative investigation of the DVCS reaction off a nuclear target in the coherent and incoherent ch...

The interest of the DVCS process resides in the particular insight it gives to the applicability of perturbative Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD) in the field of diffractive interactions. In the presence of a hard scale, the DVCS scattering amplitude factorises into a hard scattering part calculable in perturbative QCD and parton distributions which contain the non-perturbative effects due to the ...

The HERMES experiment at DESY, Hamburg used the HERA 27.6GeV electron/positron polarised beam to study the structure of the nucleon. Deeply Virtual Compton Scattering (DVCS) provides access to Generalised Parton Distributions (GPDs) via measured azimuthal asymmetries. Data was collected from 1995 to 2007 with both longitudinally and transversely polarised gas tar-gets(H, D or heavier nuclei), w...
